7) eat different kinds of protein shakes depending on the timings of your workouts
The whey protein powders help the most in water and right after a workout. The milk protein powders help the most before sleeping and in whole organic milk (better if it is raw colostrum). Another thing that helps you leaning out and staying lean is CLA. References :

However, if your looking for a slight boost while working out, drink protein drinks (whey protein powders) 30 minutes before you work out and right after to give your muscle optimal rebuildage. Creatine can also help slightly with your lift but has been known to add water to your muscle. Of weightloss pills, there is nothin I reccomend, but hoodia has been shown to be effective in managing hunger.
